The three were brought down with the help of a hydraulic ladder after over one-hour-long operation.

The three — Jatinder Kaur (23) and Harpreet Kaur (32) from Bathinda and Taran Aulakh (27) from Mansa district, who have done elementary teacher training (ETT) besides having cleared the state-level teacher eligibility test (TET) — were protesting against the Punjab government, seeking job assurance.

They had sneaked into the premises on November 17 morning. Kamal Thakur, a member of the teachers’ association the three are also members, said, “They came down on the assurance that the officials of the Punjab education department will meet us. The two who are still atop another tower will only come down after the demands are met with.”
