Two motorcycle thieves arrested, five motorcycles recovered

Police sources said that on a tip-off, the police nabbed Harpal Singh, a resident of Adampur, from a petrol pump situated on the Kartarpur Road with a stolen Pulsar motorcycle PB-08-BY-2234, His accomplice Jetan, a resident of Chuharwal village, was also arrested with a Passion motorcycle.
"Later, three other motorcycles were also recovered," said ASI Amrik Singh Chahal.
"The gang had been active in the area for the past many years. They sold the stolen vehicles using forged documents and changing number plates," he added.
The ASI said that a fake RC had also been recovered from their possession. Raids are being conducted to nab the other accused.
