A woman was killed and two others, including a child, were critically injured after a factory wall collapsed in Jeevan Nagar on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Fulla Devi (22). The injured are Simran (10) and Rekha (26).
Labourers were unloading coal from a truck and dumping it alongside the wall, when due to immense load, the wall collapsed.
Three women labourers and their children were sitting on the other side of the wall when the incident took place. Consequently, two women and one child were buried under the debris. The injured have been admitted to civil hospital, where condition of Simran, who suffered multiple injuries, is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and initiated investigation to register a case.
