Youth rapes mentally challenged minor girl in Punjab

A 13-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a youth at Dharamkot village in Moga district, police said on Tuesday.

A 13-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a youth at Dharamkot village in Moga district, police said on Tuesday.

Sukhwinder Singh, 30, allegedly kidnapped the mentally challenged girl, who also could not speak, and raped her at a field in Dharamkot village on Monday, they said.

A case was registered against the absconding accused and search was on to nab him, police added.
