After weeks of speculations that Anirudh Ravichander or Yuvan Shankar Raja could score music for Ajith’s Viswasam, reports have emerged that D Imman might finally get the golden opportunity. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement, the industry grapevine is that Imman, whose 100th film happens to be Jayam Ravi’s Tik Tik Tik, has bagged the project. On Wednesday, Tik Tik Tik director Shakti Soundar Rajan congratulated Imman via a tweet. “Congrats Imman for deservingly bagging Thala’s Viswasam.” However, Imman is yet to officially comment on the reports doing the rounds.
While rumours made the rounds that the project will go on the floors from January 18, Hindustan Times has exclusively learnt that the principal shooting will commence from the last week of February and the project will be wrapped up by July or August. “The team plans to start shooting from last Thursday of February which happens to be the 22nd. The story will have North Chennai backdrop and the makers hope to finish the entire shooting by August,” a source from the film’s unit told Hindustan Times.

{{/usCountry}}To be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film will see Ajith going back to sporting black hair, after popularizing the salt-and-pepper look in his all three previous collaborations with director Siva. A source close to Ajith has confirmed that the actor has dyed his hair black and is gearing up for shoot. “A mutual decision by Ajith sir and director Siva was taken to change the look this time. He no longer will be seen in salt-and-pepper look and instead will sport full black hair. He has already dyed his hair.”
