Happy Birthday Tamannaah: These 6 looks of the Baahubali actor prove she’s a diva
Tamannaah Bhatia, who celebrates her birthday on December 21, became a household name in India thanks to the amazing success of Baahubali franchise.
Tamannaaah Bhatia, a Sindhi from Mumbai, has been a huge star in Tamil and Telugu cinema for a while now with hits like Devi, Thozha/Oopiri and Veeram in her kitty. However, post the success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, she has been catapulted into the big league.
Playing Avanthika in the fantasy drama, Bollywood ‘rediscovered’ her. If one was to recall, she had acted in Bollywood films such as Humshakals, Himmatwala (in 2013 with Ajay Devgn) Entertainment (2014, opposite Akshay Kumar). However, despite starring opposite big stars in Bollywood, her career here never really took of.
Then, in 2015, Baahubali happened -- suddenly one started seeing Tamannaah in TV ads, she did a high profile video ad for an Indian ‘Chinese’ masala brand called Ching. Directed by hit-man Rohit Shetty and starring the hyper active Ranveer Singh, the ad certainly showcased Tamaanaah in an all-new avatar for the mainstream audience.
