Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja, two prominent Kannada actors, got married in a church wedding on Sunday.
According to a report in Indian Express, the couple has known each other for 10 years now. The ceremony, which took place in Bengaluru, was attended by the close family and friends of the couple.
“We have been friends for so long. And we have just got married. The feeling is very surreal,” the report quoted Meghana as saying. “We will be an exemplary married couple. And we want all your blessings for that,” Indian Express quoted Chiranjeevi as saying.
The report adds that on May 2, the couple will marry again, this time as per Hindu tradition. On Wednesday, they will host a wedding reception for friends and family.

{{/usCountry}}It may be recalled that Chiranjeevi is the nephew of popular Kannada actor Arjun Sarja. Chiranjeevi’s elder brother, Dhruva Sarja, is also an actor. Meanwhile, Meghana’s parents, Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshai, too are well known faces in Kannada film industry.
