Actor Neetu Chandraa, who has taken a sabbatical of sorts from Hindi films and is currently working in a Tamil musical thriller Vaigai Express, was injured while canning an action sequence on the sets of the film in Chennai.
"Neetu got injured in a struggle sequence. She was left bruised and her left eye was swollen. The director quickly called off the shoot as Neetu was suffering with pain. Following some medical attention, she was advised complete bed rest," said a source from the film's unit.
Directed by Shaji Kailas, Vaigai Express features Neetu in a double role for the first time in her career.
