Filmmaker Praveen Sattaru’s action film PSV Garuda Vega with actor Rajasekhar last year was one of the best Telugu films in recent times. Not only did the film revive the career of washed-out star Rajasekhar, it was also proof to the fact that you don’t need stars to make an action film work. Following the success of PSV Garuda Vega, Sattaru is teaming up with actor Ram Pothineni, best known for films such as Ready, Masala and Nenu Sailaja among others.
The new untitled project will be made on a lavish scale. “Extremely excited to be a part of a magnificent script and a film of this Magnitude. Ram 17 is going to be one of a kind for our Telugu Cinema. Can’t wait to experience this action adventure at -20 degrees with my director Praveen Sattaru,” Ram posted on his twitter page.
After the debacles such as Hyper and Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi, Ram has pinned high hopes on this project. He is currently shooting for Dil Raju’s Hello Guru Premakosame. Talking about the project, Sattaru said it’ll be a big, unique, edge of the seat action adventure. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalised soon.
