Raabta: Magadheera makers move court against film over copyright infringement

Geeta Arts, the makers of Ram Charan starrer Magadheera, have approached the court over copyright infringement by Sushant Singh starrer Raabta.

The makers of Ram Charan’s Magadheera, which happens to be the biggest blockbuster of his career, have moved to court against Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta over copyright infringement of the story.

Ever since the trailer of Raabta was released, a section of audience on social media pointed out the film’s striking similarity with Magadheera, which was about two estranged lovers meeting in another life and realizing they share a strong connection. Directed by SS Rajamouli, which introduced him to the world as a visionary filmmaker, the film also starred Kajal Aggarwal in her first major hit of her career.
