After playing dual roles in last year’s action-drama Annadurai, actor-composer Vijay Antony is all set to don khaki for the first time in his career for Thimiru Pudichavan. A poster announcing the news was shared on Thursday.
Known for the quirky titles of his film, Antony has yet again stirred up curiosity with this title. To be directed by Ganesha, an erstwhile assistant of SS Rajamouli, the film will go on the floors from February 7. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced, but it has been finalised that Richard M Nathan will crank the camera, while Antony will compose the music.
To be produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the project will be Antony’s second release of the year. He currently awaits the release of Kaali - a film where he has essayed four roles. Directed by Vanakkam Chennai fame Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, the film is slated to hit the screens on March 30. Anjali, Amritha, Shilpa Manjunath and Sunaina play the leading ladies in Kaali, which will also be dubbed and released in Telugu.
