It turns out that most of the British newlyweds don't have sex on their first night.

According to a recent wedding survey by events company Chillisauce, 67% of Brit couples don't actually consummate their marriage on their wedding night, Metro.co.uk reported.

Out of the 5,000 people who responded to the survey, almost 80% of women who attended a wedding said they'd hooked up with someone there, while 25 % of people claimed to have met their partner at somebody else's nuptials.

The survey also found that men were likelier to invite a former lover to their wedding than women, with over 30% saying that they had sent the invite despite their bride-to-be's objection.
