NEW DELHI: ICC Chief Executive David Richardson will present the BCCI with a silver plate to commemorate the 500th Test match at the Green Park Stadium. “I’ve witnessed the passion that fans here have for the game and I always enjoy watching cricket here,” he said. Chairman Shashank Manohar won’t be present. In Lahore, Richardson said international cricket can return to Pakistan only after the security situation improves in the country. Speaking after presenting the mace to Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq for the team becoming No 1 in Tests, he said ICC wanted all its members, including Pakistan, to be playing international cricket at home but eventually the security situation in the country will dictate what happens in the future.
