MARGAO: An unbeaten Iraq will look to clinch their maiden title when they take on former champions Iran in the summit clash of the AFC U-16 Championship football on Sunday. The final will be the first time in a decade that Iraq and Iran have faced each other at an AFC youth event after the two sides played out a 0-0 stalemate in the group stage back in 2006. Riding on Mohammed Dawood’s hat-trick, Iraq had beaten highly-rated Japan 4-2 in the semifinals to set up the title clash against Iran. Iraq coach Chitheer was confident that his players will be up to their task.
