Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga reached the World Indoor tournament semi-finals without hitting a ball on Friday after fourth seed Tomas Berdych pulled out suffering with flu.
Tsonga will meet either Ivan Ljubicic or Marco Baghdatis in Saturday's semi-final.
