World number one Rafael Nadal overcame a slow start to beat Swede Robin Soderling 3-6 6-3 7-6 6-1 on Wednesday and reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon.
Spaniard Nadal, who also saw off Soderling's challenge in the French Open final earlier this month, squandered his first match point but then sealed victory with a forehand down the line.
Sixth-seeded Soderling had a medical timeout for treatment on his left foot as Nadal was about to serve for the third set at 5-4.
