Rafael Nadal has plenty of reasons to like his chances against Robin Soderling in Sunday's French Open final. Nadal has six Grand Slam titles, including four at Roland Garros. Soderling has none.

Rafael Nadal has plenty of reasons to like his chances against Robin Soderling in Sunday's French Open final. Nadal has six Grand Slam titles, including four at Roland Garros. Soderling has none.

Nadal is 202-16 over his career on clay, Soderling's record is just 67-45.

And Nadal is 37-1 in the French Open, while Soderling is 15-6, and was only 3-5 before 2009.

But Soderling is responsible for Nadal's lone loss at the clay-court Grand Slam tournament, stunning the Spaniard in the fourth round last year en route to reaching the final. That result changes the whole complexion of Sunday's rematch. If Nadal wins, he will replace Roger Federer at No. 1 in the rankings.
