Paes-Black in second round of French Open

India's Leander Paes and Zimbabwean Cara Black eased into the French Open mixed doubles tennis second round with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Virginie Razzano of France and South African Jeff Coetzee in Paris on Friday.

India's Leander Paes and Zimbabwean Cara Black eased into the French Open mixed doubles tennis second round with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Virginie Razzano of France and South African Jeff Coetzee in Paris on Friday.

The second-seeded US open mixed doubles champions broke Razzano and Coetzee five times in the match while dropping their serve twice to win in almost an hour.

Paes and Black next play Austrian Sybille Bammer and Polish Lukasz Kubot who beat Slovaks Dominika Cibulkova and Filip Polasek and 6-7(2), 6-2, 10-7.

Meanwhile, Australian Open mixed doubles champions Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi will play their opening match against Nathalie Dechy of France and Andy Ram of Israel.
