A day after Indian origin coach Robin Dutt of Bayer Leverkusen pitted his wits against Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona in the Uefa Champions League, Holland-based Indian origin player Luciano Narsingh was called up to the Netherlands provisional squad for the international friendly against England later this month.

Aged only 21, Luciano is of Indo-Surinamese descent and currently plies his trade with Dutch Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen. The versatile attacking midfielder has already represented the Netherlands at the under-21 level but this is his first call up to the senior setup.
