PANAJI: The Economic Offences Wing of the Goa police has filed an FIR against the state cricket association president Chetan Dessai and two other office-bearers in connection with a case of fraud involving Rs 3.13 crore. The FIR was filed on Friday after the association’s life member Vilas Desai lodged a complaint against Desai, secretary Vinod Phadke and treasurer Akbar Mulla alleging that they had forged signatures and opened bank accounts to siphon money.
