The Indo-American pair fought valiantly before losing 7-6(1) 3-6 10-12 to Slovakian-Israeli pair in the last-eight stage match of the $442,500 ATP hard court event.

Beck and Sela had shocked top seeds Dustin Brown of Germany and Dutch Rogier Wassen 6-3 7-5 in their opening round.

Somdev will now look to do well in the singles event where he has already reached the quarter-final.

He will clash against South African Rik de Voest for a place in the semi-finals.
