Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr scored his first touchdown in the game against the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm in Arizona on Thursday in the fourth quarter. The catch came as a relief for the rookie as the game started with his struggles with dropped catches continuing from Week 3.

After catching the 16-yard TD pass from Kyler Murray, Harrison Jr broke down in the Seahawks endzone, as his catch, followed by a field goal, put the Cardinals 13-20. It brought them within a possibility of catching up with Seattle's massive lead, making the fourth quarter neck-to-neck.

Notably, before Thursday’s game, he had 10 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown in three games. Against Seattle, he added six receptions for 66 yards and a crucial score.

However, the early struggles of Marvin Harrison Jr proved costly for the Seattle Seahawks as they lost to the Seahawks with a late field goal giving the Seahawks the winning points in the final few seconds of the fourth quarter.

The broadcast showed Seattle celebrating, with Harrison Jr' on his knees with his hands on his head.

Murray's pass to Marvin Harrison Jr. carried just a 26.0% completion probability, as per the X account Next Gen Stats. This made it the ninth-most improbable touchdown scored across the entire NFL season, they said.

On the play, Harrison Jr. created only 0.3 yards of separation from cornerback Devon Witherspoon, ranking as the second-lowest margin of space recorded on a touchdown this season. Despite such minimal room, he secured the catch. Harrison finished the game with six receptions for 66 yards for one touchdown.
