Sugandha wants to act with Raghu
After acting in films including My Name Is Khan and Tere Bin Laden, and hosting travel shows on the tube, actor-turned-VJ, Sugandha Garg says that now she wants to act in a film with the ‘Bad man’ of TV, hubby Raghu Ram, famous for his popular show, Roadies.
After acting in films including My Name Is Khan and Tere Bin Laden, and hosting travel shows on the tube, actor-turned-VJ, Sugandha Garg says that now she wants to act in a film with the ‘Bad man’ of TV, hubby Raghu Ram, famous for his popular show, Roadies.
“Inspite of being in a similar profession, we both do different kinds of work... we really don’t want to come back home, and keep talking about the same project. However, one-off projects could be fun, like I would love to act in a film with him (Raghu),” says the 28-year-old, who made her acting debut with the 2008 hit film, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, and will next be seen in Indo-American filmmaker Prashant Bhargava’s film, Patang, that premiered at the Berlin Film Festival.
Garg, who is also upbeat about her new show on FOX Traveller, It Happens Only In India, woven around lesser-known small towns of India, adds, “Raghu and I have worked together earlier... He was my boss in BBC!” So, is Raghu as intimidating at home, as he appears on TV? “Yes, every day he gets back home, abuses me and punches me!” laughs Garg.
