Mumbai airport recorded 44 million passenger traffic in previous fiscal

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport recorded a strong passenger traffic of around 44 million in financial year 2022-23, with a year-on-year growth of 105% in passenger movement. The airport saw a recovery of 90% over pre-Covid numbers, with domestic traffic registering a strong recovery of 96%. The airport welcomed seven new overseas passenger carriers and one new domestic carrier during the year, and saw a growth of 291% in passenger traffic compared to fiscal year 21-22.
