NMRC to restart Aqua Line Metro from Monday

Officials of the corporation said the NMRC is making all necessary preparations at all of its stations and on trains as well, so as to ensure that all passengers follow social distancing norms

Noida Metro to develop Pari Chowk and Sector 51 as ‘pink’ stations

The two stations were selected from the 21 stations on the Aqua Line that connects Noida to Greater Noida. The details were shared on NMRC’s 5th Foundation Day, which was celebrated on Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Noida’s Sector 6.

Sneak peek: Metro-3 will ride on Mumbai’s spirit and love for sea

The model was unveiled by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis along with MMRC chief Ashwini Bhide and senior MMRC officials. Metro-3 will get 31 trains of eight coaches each.

Parking facilities at six Noida Metro stations to begin by March-end

With Blue line extension, Metro comes to Indirapuram doorstep

In a bid to improve connectivity, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) connected its Aqua Line with the DMRC’s Blue Line via a walkway and a carriageway dedicated to e-rickshaws. The two lines, which meet at the intersection between sectors 51/52, are connected at the Blue Line’s Sector 52 station and Aqua Line’s Sector 51 station.

Walkway to connect Aqua and Blue lines by end of this month

The NMRC has started construction of the two-metre wide walkway for pedestrians and a five-metre wide pathway for e-rickshaws to ferry passengers between Aqua Line and Blue Line.

Noida Metro to allow movie shooting on Aqua Line for a fee

The applicant will not be allowed to use the footage if he/ she uses it to damage or harm the image of the Metro. The footage will be used only for purposes mentioned in the application at the time of seeking permission.

Now, book ticket for Noida’s Aqua Metro Line on mobile app

The NMRC mobile application, available on Google Playstore and iOS App Store, will work as a wallet for commuters. For this, the NMRC has tied up with State Bank of India (SBI), officials said. The mobile app will also have a QR code, which can be used for entry and exit.

UP Police will secure Aqua Metro line, a first for Metro in NCR

Over the last three months, the CISF has trained personnel from the UP-PAC in counter terrorism, close range combat, handling emergency situations, rescue and evacuation. The UP police personnel will soon take over security of Aqua Line that will connect Noida with Greater Noida.

Noida-Greater Noida West Metro Link to be ready by December 31, 2020

This Metro link will have five stations, of which three will be in Greater Noida west and two will be under Noida’s jurisdiction. The distance covered by the Metro between Noida’s Sector 71 to Greater Noida west’s Sector 1 till Kisan Chowk will be around seven kilometres.
