Covid-19 patient tries to jump off Kolkata hospital building

The 56-year-old man tried to jump off the third floor of the Super Speciality Block of the hospital after smashing the windowpane with an oxygen cylinder, a senior officer said.

Fire in Kolkata’s Calcutta Medical College and Hospital; fourth incident in 3 months

The incident took place around 4am on Monday as smoke was seen from the second floor of MCH building. There were no reports of any injury in the fire, the second in more than three months in the nearly 200-year-old hospital.

Sabotage suspected in Kolkata hospital fire

Students fasting for 11 days, no end to Calcutta Medical College impasse in sight
