After downloading the mobile application, commuters will have an option to select a language and then stream the loaded movies and videos on their smartphones. The contents will be provided without requiring the internet.

Train number 01221 Rajdhani special will leave the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) here on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 4.10 pm from December 30, it said. The train will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 11 am the next day.
To screen passengers arriving at stations and to ensure a COVID free and safe journey, the Central Railway have introduced the ‘Febri Eye’ and the robotic ‘Captain Arjun’.(ANI)

The Down fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 8.52 am to 1.53 pm has been diverted on Down slow line at Matunga, halting at all stations from Sion to Mulund stations.

One of oldest living retired railway guards turns 100, to get double pension

Keshav Narhar Bapat, one of the oldest living retired railway guards, turned 100 on Saturday. Bapat joined the Central Railway, or earlier called as the Great Indian Peninsular Railway (GIPR) in 1951. He retired 42 years later.

Earlier, trains were suspended on Western Railway between Churchgate and Vasai stations due to power outage caused by grid failure. The Central Railway too had suspended its services and passengers were seen waiting at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Out of these 68 services, 46 will be on the main line (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Kasara, Khopoli and Karjat), and 22 on the harbour line (CSMT to Panvel and Goregaon), the Central Railway (CR) said in a release.
