Udaipur: Curfew relaxed for 10 hours, protests continue

“The situation is becoming normal in the city. Therefore, it was decided to relax curfew from 8 am to 6 pm,” a district administration official said.

As clashes erupt in Ranchi over Prophet remarks, CM Soren appeals for peace

A curfew was imposed under provisions of Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) in parts of Ranchi earlier in the day after protests over remarks by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled party leader Naveen Kumar Jindal on Prophet Mohammed, turned violent.

Curfew imposed in Jammu's Bhaderwah after tension over social media post

Citing the police media centre, an ANI report said that a case has been registered at Bhaderwah police station in connection with the matter and action has been taken as per law.
