Older diesel, petrol vehicles can hit city streets again as govt lifts curbs

Fuel prices skyrocket in Chennai, petrol thieves have a field day

With fuel prices going north, Chennai has started seeing a rise in fuel theft cases, especially in apartment complexes. Petrol was being sold at ₹100.75 and diesel at 93.91 on Tuesday morning.

Jet fuel price hiked 3%; LPG, petrol, and diesel rates remain unchanged

ATF prices are revised on 1st and 16th of every month based on average of benchmark international price and foreign exchange rate in the preceding fortnight. Petrol and diesel prices, which are revised on a daily basis, were kept unchanged on Saturday.
