Indian Railways latest updates on train schedule: Festival special trains, slated to run from October 10 to November 21, are being started keeping in mind the growing demand in the ensuing holiday period of Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chatt Puja.

Trains cancellations, delays add to Bihar flooding woes, passengers inconvenienced

Delays and cancellations inconvenienced lakhs of daily and long distance commuters. Several long distance trains were reported running late by four to ten hours and the passengers said timely and correct information on delays was not forthcoming from the railways.

Heavy rains disrupt rail services in Bihar, ECR cancels several trains

In a first, three trains can run on Sone river rail bridge at a time

Around 200 passenger and freight trains pass through the Dehari-Songar bridge daily. The bridge with was first opened to trains in 1900. The second railway track was laid 1925.

Bihar: Work on Digha Ghat expressway likely to begin in January
