Agitating farmers from western UP stay put in Noida at night

Covid-19: Section 144 imposed in Gautam Buddh Nagar till January 2

The order, issued by the Gautam Buddh Nagar police on Sunday night, noted that Section 144 was also being imposed to keep law and order situation under check during the birth anniversary of former prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh on December 23 and the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Robberies, burglaries rise in GB Nagar even amid heightened police presence

“There was a theft in the Sanatan Dharm temple in Sector 37 in the early hours of Saturday. The burglars took away silver ornaments and statues from the temple, after which we alerted the local police (Sector 39) about the incident,” said Shashi Vaid, chairman of the Arun Vihar Residents’ Welfare Association, (RWA).

Noida Police clocks second-best response time to distress calls in UP

Gautam Buddh Nagar police clocked an average time of 8.10 minutes to respond to an emergency in the month of May, behind only Raebareli police which had the best time of 7.49 minutes, the state-level data showed.
