GST not payable on govt incentive to banks for promoting RuPay, BHIM-UPI: Centre

Under the Incentive scheme for the promotion of RuPay Debit Cards and low-value BHIM-UPI transactions, the government pays banks an incentive as a percentage of the value of RuPay Debit card transactions and low-value BHIM-UPI transactions up to ₹2,000.

Collection of GST in Karnataka over 10,000 crore: CM Bommai

Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday said the monthly collection of goods and services tax (GST) in the State has crossed ₹10,000 crore for three months in a row.

Bommai said Karnataka is behind Maharashtra in emerging out of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
