Incorrect details on property IDs put Gurugram residents in a fix

MCG officials said that a property tax survey conducted by a private agency in January 2022, found that properties falling under the tax ambit increased from 307,000 to 514,000. The MCG created new property IDs based on the survey and then invited objections from residents. However, residents alleged that the new property IDs had incorrect details, creating a faulty database

Gurugram: Fake cop threatens police action, extorts 1.40 lakh from car riders

A man and a woman were sitting in a car when they were approached by a man wearing a police uniform. He threatened to frame them under charge of making out in a public place

Police identify hot spots of drug peddling in Gurugram

The “hot spots” where these illegal drugs are commonly sold are MG Road, Iffco Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Palam Vihar, Sectors 5, 17/18, 29 and 93, Manesar and the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway.

Man arrested for slapping, abusing security guard & lift operator at Ggm society

The man, who was identified as Varun Nath (39), a businessman, allegedly also threatened to kill the guard, Ashok Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, and the lift operator, police said.
