Janhvi Kapoor is an Indian actor and the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. She has one younger sister, Khushi Kapoor. Before making her film debut, she took an acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California. She made her debut with Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter in 2018. She made a mark on the film industry with her film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in 2020. She has appeared in films like Roohi and Ghost Stories. She was awarded as ‘Arets Stjerneskudd’ rising talent of the year by the Norwegian Consulate General in 2018.
