While most male commuters I interacted with used words like ‘comfortable’ and ‘convenient’ to describe their experience of travelling on the Rapid Metro, women tended to use the word ‘safe’ instead.

The farmers claimed farming and fishing is their main occupation and if the MMRDA goes ahead with the car shed plan, they will attempt mass suicide in protest.

Navi Mumbai Metro inches closer to reality

Cidco has divided the Navi Mumbai Metro project into four phases. The first phase of 11.10km (which is now under implementation) starts from Belapur railway station and ends to Pendhar near Taloja.
