One-time option for ‘Old Pension Scheme’ ? Check eligibility, last date

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel, government employees who are eligible to choose the Old Pension Scheme "but do not do so by the stipulated date" will continue to be covered by the National Pension System.

Pension liability under House panel’s lens

Congress-ruled Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have announced reverting to the old pension scheme, even as the party won Himachal Pradesh in the latest round of assembly polls banking on a slew of promises, including one to go back to OPS.
