Chinese petroleum giant plans to invest $31 billion in oil, gas in 2022

It plans to invest 81.5 billion yuan in upstream exploitation, especially the crude oil bases in Shunbei and Tahe fields, and natural gas fields in Sichuan province and the Inner Mongolia region.

Jharkhand petrol pumps demand VAT reduction, observe strike

The strike evoked an overwhelming response as all the petrol pumps in the state remained shut since morning, said Jharkhand Petroleum Dealers' Association (JPDA) general secretary Sharad Dudani.

Several petrol pumps in the state, particularly those located along the national highways, were incurring losses as diesel and petrol were costlier in Jharkhand as compared to neighbouring Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and UP, he said.(Reuters)

Petrol price to drop 8.6 from today after tax cut
