Haryana-based Kesra Ram’s Zanani Paud wins $25,000-Dhahan Prize for Punjabi fiction

Sirsa-based writer Kesra Ram has won the Dhahan Prize for excellence in Punjabi fiction for his collection of short stories, Zanani Paud, while British Columbia’s Harkirat Kaur Chahal has been selected as the finalist of the Gurmukhi script category for her novel, Aadam Grehan. She is the first woman author to have won the Dhahan Prize for her groundbreaking novel.
