2 militants killed in Anantnag encounter

The gunfight started after forces received an input about presence of militants following which a joint party of police, army and CRPF launched a search operation in Kachwan forest of Kokernag in Anantnag.

Two militants killed in encounter in south Kashmir’s Anantnag

The identities and affiliation of the slain militants are still being ascertained. Incriminating material, including arms and ammunition, was recovered from the site of the encounter.
