Three men arrested, juvenile apprehended for series of crimes in Delhi

A 12-year-old had sustained a bullet injury in his arm when he along and his father and seven to eight labourers tried to nab the robbers who had snatched the mobile phone of the driver of a goods vehicle in Shalimar Bagh village.

12-year-old boy shot at during robbery in Delhi's Shalimar Bagh

A case of robbery and use of firearms was registered and teams were formed to identify and nab the suspects. The police are also scanning CCTV footage of cameras installed on the route that the suspects took while fleeing.
Police said that the incident took place when the two suspects tried snatching the mobile phone of a man who worked for the 12-year-old’s father, who is into the tent and catering business.

The number of ICU beds for Covid-19 treatment– with and without ventilators – have gone up by over 1,000 since the beginning of November, while the total beds for Covid-19 in government, private, and makeshift hospitals have increased by over 2,000 during the same time.

Fewer able to get tested as Delhi tightens rules

At least 8 testing centres were banned by the Delhi government on Thursday and the administration issued notices asking them to explain why there documents were not in order and the reason for now following guidelines on who can be tested.

Success of odd-even rule will depend on availability of public transport: Experts | Opinion

The odd-even vehicle restriction scheme introduced in Delhi for the first time in January 2016 could reduce pollution levels by just around 2 – 3%, a study done by a team of scientists from IIT-Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, IITM-Pune, CSIR and the TERI, had concluded. Only three pockets in the city – Najafgarh, Shalimar Bagh and Greater Kailash – registered around 8 – 10% in pollution levels.
