The official said another team visited the Unnao residence of the injured lawyer, who is undergoing treatment at the trauma centre of King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow.

A 20-year-old newly-wed woman was on Monday battling for her life with 40% burns two days after two men allegedly set her afire for refusing to withdraw her sexual harassment complaint against them in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur.
The incident occurred when the victim had gone to attend to nature’s call in a field along with other women and girls. The accused duo approached her when she was returning home and started pressurising her to take back her complaint against them.(AFP File)
