Massive earthquake hits one of Tibet's holiest cities | Devastation in pics

According to regional disaster relief headquarters, the quake struck at 9:05 am Tuesday (local time). The US Geological Service, however, put the quake's magnitude at 7.1. This picture shows damaged houses in Shigatse, southwestern Tibet region, after the earthquake hit the area.
