Uttarakhand deploys shooters to hunt tiger linked to 6 deaths

Three hunters-- Ashish Das Gupta, Kirnesh Jung and Sayyad Ali Hadi – have been deployed to execute the task, said CS Joshi, divisional forest officer, Ramnagar forest division, Nainital.

126 tiger deaths recorded in India in 2021: NTCA

  • A tiger was found dead in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, taking this year's toll in the state to 44. According to reports, two days ago, a tigress died in the state's Dindori area allegedly due to poisoning.
