US Covid-19 cases found as early as December 2019, says study

Johnson & Johnson plans to test its Covid-19 vaccine in ages 12-18 soon

J&J started testing the vaccine in adults in a 60,000-volunteer Phase III study in late September. It had to pause the trial earlier this month because of a serious medical event in one participant. The study resumed last week.

US reports about 300,000 more deaths than usual during Covid-19 pandemic: CDC

The report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that 299,028 more people died between Jan. 26 and Oct. 3 than the average numbers from past years would have indicated.
