US drops Covid-19 test requirement for international travel to boost tourism

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the Covid-19 test requirement for international travel will end early Sunday morning but it will continue to monitor state of the coronavirus pandemic and will reassess the need for a testing requirement if the situation changes.

The United States has been witnessing a resurgence of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, particularly in areas with low vaccination rates.
