Man fends off snatchersin Delhi’s Wazirabad, son injured

An eight-year-old boy was injured, including a fractured leg, after three motorcycle-borne men allegedly tried to snatch his father?s mobile phone in north Delhi?s Wazirabad. The father managed to catch one of the suspects and recover his phone, while another suspect, a minor, was apprehended the same day. A case of robbery and causing hurt was registered.

Delhi: Golden jackals spotted at Yamuna biodiversity park

Faiyaz Khudsar, scientist at the park and scientist-in-charge of the Delhi Development Authority’s biodiversity parks programme, said the pair was sighted on Saturday, adding that the presence of jackals is vital for a healthy ecosystem

LG reviews Yamuna revival works, sets June 30 deadline for clean floodplain

Delhi LG VK Saxena said that the clean up of garbage along Yamuna ghats is also being taken up in “mission mode” and the beautification of ghats will also be completed by June 30.

Property gets dearer in Gurugram as circle rates are hiked by up to 30%

Circle rate is the minimum price at which a property is registered with the revenue department when being transferred. The stamp duty levied on such properties is a major revenue for the state government
