Rescue videos are often heartwarming to watch. There is something beautiful in watching people going out of their ways to help animals stuck in difficult situations. Case in point, this video showing a man rescuing a huge sea turtle stuck in the roots of a tree on the bank of a waterbody.

The video is posted on the Instagram page Goodnews movement. They also shared a descriptive caption to talk more about the rescue. “This man in Honduras spotted a struggling Sea Turtle and came to the rescue. This is no easy task as they can weigh 500-1,500 pounds. HERO!,” they added.

The video opens to show the man cutting roots of a tree to free a stuck sea turtle. He continues doing so patiently until the creature is free. Not just that, the man also drags the reptile towards deep water and helps it to swim away.

The video has been posted a day ago. Since being shared, it has gathered more than 1.9 million views and counting. The viral video has also prompted people to post various kinds of comments. Many couldn’t stop appreciating the man.
