The caretakers or zookeepers working at rescue centres or zoos across the world often have to be creative while taking care of animals, especially the babies. One such story was recently posted on the official Instagram page of Omaha's Zoo & Aquarium. They shared how their caretakers use a stuffed frog toy to convince a baby giraffe to drink her food.

“She’s ‘hoovin’ in the right direction, you guys! Our giraffe calf is now taking a bottle from her caretakers. Calves, instinctually, look to suckle under the shadow of their mother’s belly. This particular frog stuffy helps us create this effect during our feedings, which occur four to five times a day with about four hours in between each,” they wrote. In the next few lines they explained how they prepare the special formula for the little animal. Alongside, they posted several images and a video of the baby giraffe.

Take a look at the post:

“Beyond special. Thank you for the updates. She is loved,” commented an Instagram user. “We have the best zookeepers in the world. I can't imagine their stress and worry, which I'm sure they carry with them 24/7. So many good vibes to the whole team!” posted another. “To the caretakers, you’re doing an incredible thing & the absolute best you can. To sweet baby girl, everyone is rooting for you,” expressed a third. “So happy to hear this!!” wrote a fourth.
