Read on as she talks about her latest venture, her passion for travelling and why she doesn't want to go back to films. On being asked why she chose to produce a silent comedy, she says, “I was offered many scripts and concepts for shows but nothing clicked as such.

I always wanted to produce a silent comedy.” She further reveals, “There is a team in Malegaon headed by Nasir Shaikh, who directs Bollywood spoofs. Along with his creative head Akram Khan, he approached me with a concept of gags related to Malegaon.

I loved the idea, and there was no looking back. The entire team is from Malegaon and does not have any professional training. It was great to work with such raw talent.”
On being asked about the concept of the show, Deepti sounds very enthusiastic: “The show is hilarious.

Ask her about a comeback in Bollywood and she replies, “I don't want to go back to films and I am very satisfied with the work I am doing. I am quite happy and satisfied with my journey till now.”
