Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth are brands in their own right. Wonder what their combined brand equity would be like? The actors are reportedly coming together for an ad film to create awareness for child health in India, reports DNA.
The ad film is part of the Health Ministry's special awareness advertisement campaign about the malnutrition of children in India.
A source told the daily, “They are part of the awareness campaign and will be seen in an ad film for the same. We know this will be Rajini Sir’s first commercial in about 20 years. He says that he’s only doing the ad since it is for a good cause,” says a source.
“Rajini doesn’t endorse any product, but when he was told that it was an ad film for an awareness programme, he readily agreed. Aamir too agreed instantly on learning that Rajini Sir is also part of the campaign,” the source was quoted by the daily.
However, if sources are to be believed, Aamir is not content working with Rajini only in an ad, he's planning something big. “There are a lot of other things that Aamir is planning to do, and has not discussed with anyone. His close aides are saying that Aamir is now planning something big with Rajinikanth and yes, he wants to go beyond just a cameo in his film,” the source told the daily.
