American show to launch in India first

Hollywood actor Ashley Judd’s new show, Missing, has preferred Indian screens over the US. For the first time in the history of Indian television, an English show will be launched in India four days ahead of its global launch.

Hollywood actor Ashley Judd’s new show, Missing, has preferred Indian screens over the US. For the first time in the history of Indian television, an English show will be launched in India four days ahead of its global launch.

The espionage drama that will air on March 11 onwards on Star World, stars Judd as a CIA Agent and a mother who is in search of her missing son.

“Indian subcontinent has a huge demand for Hollywood shows. Our viewers are well aware and want to be at par with shows that launch in the US. We are confident that the show will resonate well with our viewers,” says Saurabh Yagnik of Star India.
